Horn: Service and Repair

Driver Side




Remove or Disconnect
1. Windshield washer solvent container. Refer to Washer Solvent Container and Pump in Windshield Wiper/Washer System.
2. Electrical connector from the horn assembly.
3. Bolt that retains the horn assembly to the fender.
4. Horn assembly from the fender.




Install or Connect
1. Horn assembly to the fender.
2. Bolt that retains the horn assembly to the fender.

Tighten
- Horn assembly to the fender bolt to 17 N.m (13 lb ft).

3. Electrical connector to the horn assembly.
4. Windshield washer solvent container. Refer to Washer Solvent Container and Pump in Windshield Wiper/Washer System.

Passenger Side




Remove or Disconnect
1. Electrical connector from the horn assembly.
2. Bolt that retains the horn assembly to the fender.
3. Horn assembly from the fender.




Install or Connect
1. Horn assembly to the fender.
2. Bolt that retains the horn assembly to the fender.

Tighten
- Horn assembly to the fender bolt to 17 N.m (13 lb ft).

3. Electrical connector to the horn assembly.
