Windshield Washer Motor: Testing and Inspection

1. Remove the left inner fender.
2. Disconnect the 2P connectors from the washer motors.

Wipers/washers-Washer Motor Test:

3. Test the washer motors by connecting battery power to the No. 1 terminals and ground to the No. 2 terminals.
- If the motors fail to run smoothly or do not run at all, replace them.
- If the motors run smoothly, but there is not enough fluid pumped, check for disconnected, blocked or damaged washer hoses.
