Replacing Coil-Integrated Module
1. Record any radio station presets; then, disconnect the battery ground cable.2. Disconnect the power harness 2-pin connector and the signal harness 16-pin connector from the existing coil-integrated module (figure 1). Disconnect the power harness 2-pin connector for the ABS hydraulic unit motor (figure 2)
3. Remove the four TORX screws holding the existing coil-integrated module to the ABS hydraulic unit (figure 3). Remove and discard the existing coil-integrated module
4. Clean the mounting surface of the ABS hydraulic unit for the coil-integrated module with a dean shop towel.
5. Mount the new coil-integrated module (see Parts Information section) to the ABS hydraulic unit.
6. Reinstall the four TORX screws and tighten the screws to 39 lb. in. (4.4 Nm) each.
7. Reconnect the power harness 2-pin connector and the signal harness 16-pin connector to the new coil-integrated module. Reconnect the power harness 2-pin connector for the ABS hydraulic unit motor.
8. Reconnect the battery ground cable.
9. Reset all radio station presets.
10. Start the engine and check that the ABS indicator light comes on then goes out after approximately 5 seconds.
