Keyless Entry: Testing and Inspection
1. Check to see if the battery voltage is normal
2. Check to see if the fuse is normal
3. Replace the antitheft controller with one reserved for test. If a trouble recurs even after replacing the controller, find out the cause
of the cause of the trouble by referring to system check procedure and the following list.
NOTE: When the connector of the anti-theft and Keyless control unit is disconnected, the starter is inoperative.

connect a resistance of tester between the harness side connector
ID Code New Registration
All Registered ID codes are erased, and a new received ID codes is registered in instead.
ID Code Additional Registration
Additionally registers a new received ID codes with holding registered ID codes, when total of registered
ID codes and newly registered ID code exceeds 4, there is erased in order of the oldest one.
ID Code Check
Checks now many kinds of ID code registered.
Answer Back (Anti-Theft Horn On) Charge Mode
Answer Back (Anti-theft Horn Operation) Change Mode
Anti-theft horn, as an answer back function for the transmitter operation, changes from available into unavailing or from unavailing into available by this procedure.
