Extension Housing Rear Oil Seal

Removal Procedure

1. Raise the vehicle.
2. Remove the propeller shaft.




3. Remove the rear extension oil seal.

Installation Procedure

Required Tools
- J 21426 Rear Extension Seat Installer




1. Install the new seal using J 21426.
2. Install the propeller shaft.
3. Lower the vehicle.
4. Check the transmission fluid level. Use Dexron Automatic Transmission Fluid.
