AVAILABILITY OF SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION BOOKLET FOR INSTALLING CHILD SAFETY SEATS

AFFECTED VEHICLES
The Supplemental Information Booklet covers the following models:

- 1995 year or later Trooper (UX).
- 1995-97 year Rodeo (UC) equipped with passenger side air-bag system.
- 1998 year or later Rodeo (UE).
- 1998 year or later Amigo (UA).

GENERAL INFORMATION
Recently, a supplemental information booklet titled PLACING CHILD SEAT In Trooper/Rodeo/Amigo (AIM99-ONM-SO1) was published. This 63 page information booklet outlines the proper procedures for installing child safety seats in certain Isuzu models (see Affected Vehicles section). The use of infant or child restraint systems which conform to Federal motor vehicle safety standards and which are installed according to their instructions is the surest way of minimizing the risk of injury to young passengers.
