Dome Lamp: Description and Operation

Battery voltage is applied at all times through the DOME LIGHT fuse CB-6 to the dome light and map lights.

Dome Light
With a door open a ground path is provided by the closed door switch and the dome light comes on. With the doors closed, the dome light can be turned on by pushing the indicated spot on the dome light which closes a switch and turns the dome light on. The dome light will remain on after the doors are closed for approximately three seconds. When the keyless entry is used to unlock or lock the doors the dome light will be turned on for approximately three seconds.

Map Lights
When either the left or right map light is depressed, battery voltage is applied to that particular light and the map light goes on.
