Horn: Description and Operation

Voltage is applied at all times through the HORN fuse EB-2 to the horn relay in the Fuse/Relay Box. The circuit continues from the horn relay to the SRS coil assembly and the horn switch. When the horn switch is closed, the circuit path is completed to ground and the horn relay energizes. The relay contact closes and battery voltage is applied to the horns. The horns sound.

Anti-theft
The Anti-theft and Keyless Entry Control Unit will ground the horn relay coil to energize the relay when the Antitheft system is triggered.
