Seat Back Recliner Replacement - Front

Removal Procedure
1. Remove the outer seat adjuster trim cover, E-Z seat only. Refer to Seat Adjuster Track Cover Replacement - Front.
2. Remove the recliner handle.
3. Remove the recliner cover.
4. Remove the inertia latch from the recliner assembly.




5. Remove the recliner assembly bolts.
6. Remove the recliner assembly from the seat.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the recliner assembly to the seat.
2. Connect the cable to the seat adjuster.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Note in Cautions and Notes.

3. Install the recliner assembly to the seat frame bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 24 N.m (18 lb ft).

4. Install the inertia latch.
5. Install the recliner trim cover to the seat.
6. Install the recliner handle.
