DAYTIME RUNNING LAMPS DISABLE PROCEDURE

2000 Isuzu Hombre with Daytime Running Lights after VIN Breakpoint: Y8700845

A new feature has been added for the 2000 Hombre to temporarily disable the Daytime Running Lights. To temporarily turn off and on the Automatic Headlamp System and the Daytime Running Lamps feature use the following procedure:

1. Turn the ignition to the RUN position.

2. Press the DOME OVERRIDE button (located on the driver side, left instrument panel) four times within six seconds. A chime will sound confirming the system is off. The system will remain off for the entire key-cycle. The system is re-activated on the next key-cycle.





3. To return to the automatic mode, press the DOME OVERRIDE button four times within six seconds (chime will sound), or turn the ignition off and on again.
