Instrument Panel Cluster Replacement
Removal ProcedureThe service of the instrument panel cluster (IPC) may consist of replacing the IPC.
CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Service Precautions.
1. Disconnect the battery negative cable.
2. Remove the instrument panel accessory trim plate. Refer to Trim Plate Replacement - IP Accessory.
3. Remove the 4 screws that retain the cluster to the instrument panel.
4. Disconnect the electrical connections, as needed.
5. Remove the cluster from the instrument panel.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the cluster to the instrument panel. Firmly seat the cluster into the instrument panel.
2. Connect the electrical connections, as needed.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Note in Service Precautions.
3. Install the screws.
Tighten
Tighten the screws that retain the instrument panel cluster to the instrument panel to 1.9 N.m (17 lb in).
4. Install the instrument panel accessory trim plate. Refer to Trim Plate Replacement - IP Accessory.
5. Connect the battery negative cable.
