Lubricant Change

Removal Procedure
1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Remove the front differential carrier shield.





3. Remove the fill plug and the washer.





4. Remove the drain plug.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the drain plug.
^ Tighten the drain plug to 33 Nm (24 ft. lbs.).
2. Fill the differential with appropriate lubricant.
3. Install the washer and the fill plug.
^ Tighten the fill plug to 33 Nm (24 ft. lbs.).





4. Install the front differential carrier shield.
