Hood Latch Replacement - Secondary

Removal Procedure




1. Raise and support the hood.
2. Remove the bolts that retain the latch assembly to the hood.
3. Remove the latch assembly from the hood.




Installation Procedure
1. Install the latch assembly to the hood.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Note in Service Precautions.

2. Install the bolts that retain the latch assembly to the hood.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
