Air Cleaner Housing: Service and Repair

Removal Procedure







1. Loosen the air filter housing retaining screws.




2. Remove the upper air filter housing.
3. Remove the air filter.

Installation Procedure







1. Install the air filter.




2. Install the upper air cleaner assembly.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Note in Service Precautions.

3. Tighten the retaining screws.

Tighten
Tighten the upper air cleaner cover screws to 3 N.m (26 lb in).
