Non-Greasy Stains
The following substances cause non-greasy stains:- Catsup
- Black coffee
- Egg
- Fruit
- Fruit juice
- Milk
- Soft drinks
- Wine
- Vomit
- Blood
- Urine
In order to clean a non-greasy stain, perform the following steps:
- Carefully scrape off the excess matter.
- Sponge the stain with cool water.
- If the stain remains, use a multi-purpose foam-type cleaner or equivalent in order to remove the stain.
In order to remove an odor left over after cleaning vomit or urine, perform the following steps:
- Treat the area with a water and baking soda solution of 5 mm (1 teaspoon) of baking soda to 250 mm (1 cup) of lukewarm water.
- If needed, clean the area lightly with a solvent-type fabric cleaner.
