Front Door Popping Noise When Rolling Up Window

2003-2005 Isuzu Ascender (US/UT) Built Prior to Build Date 3/22/2005 (Moraine, OH) or 11/05/2004 (Oklahoma City, OK)

Service Information

Condition:

Some customers may comment that the front door makes a popping noise when rolling up the window.

Possible Cause:

The glass may be contacting the plastic guide portion of the regulator and popping when the glass is moved.

Correction:

Install Insulator Tape.

Service Procedure





Wrap a piece of BSR Tape around the top of the plastic guides on the regulator. Refer to the arrows in illustration above.





Parts Information

This tape is sold in 254 mm (10 ft) rolls. This roll will service 20 doors. Please return unused portion to parts inventory for future use.
