Striker Replacement - Endgate Lower Lock

Removal Procedure




1. Swing open the endgate.
2. Remove the bolts (3) retaining the lower striker (2) to the body.
3. Remove the lower striker and shim, if equipped, from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the lower striker (2) and shim, if equipped, to the vehicle.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the bolts (3) retaining the lower striker to the vehicle.

Tighten the lower striker bolts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

3. Close the endgate.
