Fog/Driving Lamp: Service and Repair

FOG LAMP REPLACEMENT - FRONT (XTREME)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Turn the fog lamp switch to the OFF position.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector.
3. Remove the bulb from the socket.




4. Remove the screws (3) from the lower housing.
5. Remove the fog lamp adjustment screw upper, pull housing loose from the fascia.Push in on the retaining clips located around the inside of the of the housing ring.
6. Remove the fog lamp from the fascia.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the fog lamp housing ring to the fascia.
2. Align the fog lamp housing ring with the retaining clips on the fascia.
3. Push inward to fully seated to fascia.
4. Install the fog lamp lower screws.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten the bolts to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

5. Install the fog lamp adjustment screw and adjust lamp.

Tighten the bolts to 1 N.m (12 lb in).




6. Install the bulb (2) to the housing.
7. Index the tabs on the bulb socket to the slots in the fog lamp housing.
8. Rotate the socket clockwise until fully seated.
