Lower Ball Joint Replacement (2WD)

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the steering knuckle.
2. Remove the ball joint nuts and bolts from the lower control arm. Discard the nuts and bolts.
3. Remove the ball joint from the lower control arm.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the ball joint to the lower control arm.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. lnstall the new ball joint nuts and bolts to the lower control arm.
^ Tighten the nuts to 60 Nm (44 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the steering knuckle.
