Trim Plate Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Accessory

Removal Procedure




1. Carefully use a plastic flat-bladed tool to release the trim plate retaining clips.
2. Remove the trim plate from the instrument panel (I/P).
3. Disconnect the electrical connectors, as necessary.
4. If necessary, remove the center air outlets. Refer to Air Outlet Replacement - Instrument Panel - Center in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning.

Installation Procedure

Important: Attach the center air outlets to the trim plate before installing the trim plate to the I/P.




1. If necessary, install the center air outlets to the trim panel. Refer to Air Outlet Replacement - Instrument Panel - Center in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning.




2. Install the electrical connectors, as necessary.
3. Position the trim plate to the I/P.
4. Ensure the retaining clips are indexed to the corresponding slots provided in the I/P.
5. Seat the trim plate retaining clips to the I/P.
