Issue Date: APRIL 2011

AFFECTED VEHICLES

^ 2006-2008 Isuzu I-Series Pick ups

INFORMATION

CONDITION

Some owners of 2006-2008 model year Isuzu I-Series vehicles may comment about the loss of brake lamps or continuous illumination of the brake lamps. This may be caused by contamination in the brake lamp switch. The performance of the brakes is not affected. Owners also may comment about the loss of cruise control if equipped.

SPECIAL POLICY ADJUSTMENT

This special policy covers the condition described above for a period of 7 years or 100,000 miles (160,000 km) whichever occurs first, from the date the vehicle was originally placed in service, regardless of ownership.

Owners are being instructed not to go directly to the service facility unless they believe they are experiencing the described condition. If diagnosis determines the above condition is a result of a failed brake lamp switch assembly service facilities are to install a ne lamp switch assembly. This repair will be made at no charge to the customer.

For vehicles covered by Vehicle Service Contracts all eligible claims with repair orders on or after April 4, 2011 are covered by this special policy and must be submitted using the labor operation codes provided with this bulletin. Claims with repair orders prior 2011 must be submitted to the Service Contract provider.
