Front Side Door Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front door trim panel.
2. Remove the front inside door handle. Refer to CELL LINK.
3. Remove the front door water deflector.
4. Remove the outside rearview mirror.
5. Remove the front door outer belt sealing strip.
6. Remove the front door window.
7. Remove the front door window regulator.
8. Remove the front door window weatherstrip.
9. Remove the front door window run channel.
10. Remove the front door outside handle.
11. Remove the front door lock.
12. Remove the inflatable restraint side impact sensor.
13. Remove the front door weatherstrip.
14. Remove the front door speaker.
15. Remove the front door check link.
16. Remove the front door wiring harness.




17. Remove the bolts (1) retaining the front door hinge keeper straps.
18. With an assistant, lift the front door up off the body side hinges.
19. Remove the front door side hinges.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the front door side hinges.
2. With an assistant, lower the front door down onto the body side hinge straps.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

3. Install the bolts (1) retaining the front door hinge keeper straps.

Tighten the hinge keeper strap bolts to 25 N.m (18.4 lb ft).

4. Install the front door wiring harness.
5. Install the front door check link.
6. Install the front door weatherstrip.
7. Install the front door speaker.
8. Install the inflatable restraint side impact sensor.
9. Install the front door lock.
10. Install the front door outside handle.
11. Install the front door window run channel.
12. Install the front door window weatherstrip.
13. Install the front door window regulator.
14. Install the front door window.
15. Install the front door outer belt sealing strip.
16. Install the outside rearview mirror.
17. Install the front door water deflector.
18. Install the front door inside handle.
19. Install the front door trim panel.
