CORRECTIONS TO I-MARK WORKSHOP MANUALS
SERVICE INFORMATION
The following corrections apply to the I-Mark Workshop Manuals listed.
1982 AND 1983 I-MARK WORKSHOP MANUALS PAGE 1-9
Injection pump timing for the 4FB1 engine is incorrect as listed on page 1-9. The correct specification is:
Fuel Injection Timing BTDC (static) 12~
All other injection pump timing specifications shown in the workshop manual are correctly listed as 12~. Also, the underhood label on all vehicles lists the correct timing specification.

An in-line fuse has been installed between the heater blower motor and blower motor resistors on all models. Figure 15-24(a) should be changed to show the inline fuse:
FIGURE 15-24(b) - Heater Circuit (Diesel Model):
FIGURE 15-24 (b) should also be changed:
FIGURE 15-25 (a) on Page 15-13 , FIGURE 15-25 (b) on Page 15-14 and the wiring diagram at the back of the workshop manual should also be changed to show the additional fuse.

Step 9A should be added as follows:
9A. Rotate engine clockwise twice to allow tensioner to take up belt slack.
Step 10 should be changed as follows:
10. Loosen tensioner pulleys and plate bolts. Tighten the bolts in numerical sequence 1, 2, and 3.
