5 SPEED SNAP RING REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS

VEHICLES AFFECTED

Some I-Mark, Impulse and P'up models equipped with 5 speed manual transmission.

SERVICE INFORMATION

If a clunking noise is noted by the owner, or he/she is unable to engage 5th gear, an inspection of the transmission is indicated. Should this inspection determine that the 5th gear snap ring is not in the correct position, proceed with the transmission repair following the attached procedures.
