FUEL CUT-OFF SYSTEM

FUEL CUT-OFF SYSTEM:

For model with G200Z engine Preparation:
1) Start and warm up the engine thoroughly.
2) Turn the starter switch to the OFF position.
3) Disconnect the throttle valve switch harnesses at the connector, insert a fine wire into the idle terminal (upper), then make connections at the connector with the wire pulled part way out.

vInspection
1) Keep the engine running at 2,500 - 3,000 rpm.
2) Check to make certain engine speed lowers to approximately 1,250 rpm when battery voltage is applied to the wire extending from the idle terminal.
Note: Engine shake may occur at the speed of 1,250 rpm or so, but it does not indicate abnormal conditions.
