SERVICE INFORMATION

If the inside or outside door release handles are actuated at the same instant the key is turned in the door lock, the door lock links may come unclipped. If this problem occurs, replace the upper and lower door lock link snaps by following the instructions below.

PARTS INFORMATION

The following snap part numbers have been newly established and, are provided separately from the door lock assembly itself. These part numbers (and price) are for individual snaps. Two
(2) snaps are required to modify each lock assembly.

SERVICE PROCEDURE




Follow the door panel removal procedure in the Impulse Workshop Manual. Set the door panel aside. Pull the plastic covering out of the way, beginning in the top rear corner. The door lock mechanism is now accessible. Change the lock link snaps from the vertical to the horizontal style as indicated in Fig. 1 below.
