WORKSHOP MANUAL CORRECTION (MANUAL TRANSMISSION)

VEHICLES AFFECTED

1985 Impulse (JR), 1986 P'UP (KB) and 1986 Trooper II (KT) with manual transmission.

SERVICE INFORMATION

Affected vehicles use a new part number low-2nd synchronizer assembly (Part No. 8-943161-861-0) which has oil grooves on both faces of the hub. The illustration shows correct synchronizer installation.










5. Low/2nd synchronizer assembly

(1) When reassembling the synchronizer assembly, the side of the clutch hub with the oil (1) groove must face the heavy chamfer of the sleeve.

SERVICE PROCEDURE
On the following workshop manual pages, cross out the low-2nd synchronizer installation illustration and instruction. Write in "Refer to Service Bulletin SB85-05-XXX."
