Oil Consumption Diagnosis

1. Remove the outlet hose from the turbocharger unit to the throttle chamber. Check for excessive amounts of oil in the outlet hose. If large amounts of oil are present in the duct, most likely the turbocharger seals and/or bearings have worn beyond use. If turbocharger unit is at fault, replace turbocharger.
