Isuzu dealers are responsible for repairing any affected vehicle regardless of time of purchase, mileage or selling dealer.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

Replace the PCV valve as follows (Figure 1):
NOTE The old PCV valve is black. The new PCV valve is brown.

1. Remove the PCV valve from the cylinder head cover.

2. Disconnect the hose from the PCV valve.
3. Install the new PCV valve to the cylinder head cover.

4. Connect the hose to the new valve.

5. Affix campaign identification label to the inside of driver's door (Figure 2). Using a ball-point pen, fill in label with campaign number and dealer code.
