1. Check for short, open or terminal connection of harness between terminal No. 10 and 21 on TCS control unit and coolant temperature sensor, Fig. 11 then compare with specifications in chart Fig. 13.
2. Correct or replace harness if necessary.

3. Remove water temperature sensor in place in water, then compare with specifications in chart Fig. 15.
4. If specifications are not as specified, replace water temperature sensor.
