DIAGNOSTIC CHART

Code 32 Diagnostic Chart (Non-Turbo):

SPECIFIED REAPPEARANCE PATTERN

Specified Reappearance Pattern:

1. With engine at normal operating temperature, run at idle for more than 10 seconds with vehicle stationary.
2. Accelerate vehicle from a standing start. Exceed 10 mph during the first 10 seconds and continue accelerating to at least 20 mph faster than the initial speed.
3. Decelerate and stop within 30 seconds.
4. Repeat the procedure in steps "3" and "4" several times.

INSPECTIONS

Inspections (Non-Turbo):

1. Apply signal vacuum and check EGR valve shaft operation.

2. Check for signal hose problems between these components: Intake manifold, TVV, BPT, EGR valve.

3. Check for correct vacuum signal from throttle valve.

4. Check for proper operation of TVV.

5. Check for proper operation of BPT.
