DIAGNOSTIC CHART

Code 66 Diagnostic Chart:

CHECK KNOCK SENSOR RESISTANCE

1. Disconnect knock sensor connector.
2. Resistance measured across sensor terminals should be more than 1M ohms.

NOTE: If ignition timing is correct but the engine produces serious knocking, replace the knock sensor. If the problem persists and the circuit checks okay, replace the ECM.
