1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove horn pad retaining screw, then lift upward and slide pad assembly forward to remove.
3. Disconnect horn assembly electrical connectors, then using tool No. J-29752, remove steering wheel.
4. Remove gear shift knob and console box plate, Fig. 3.
5. Slightly pull console assembly outward, then disconnect shoulder belt release lever warning light electrical connector and remove console assembly.
6. Disconnect radio electrical harness.
7. Remove instrument panel undercover, engine hood lock release lever, knee pad and steering column cowl.
8. Remove four meter hood retaining screws, then the hood.
9. Disconnect meter and satellite switch electrical connector.
10. Remove meter and satellite switch assembly.
11. Open right and left door, then pull lower end of instrument panel front cover rearward, then move cover up and remove.
12. Remove front pillar trim panel.
13. Remove instrument panel grill, then the instrument panel cover assembly.
14. Reverse procedure to install.
