Circuit Operation

The electronic control module (ECM) receives inputs from the engine sensors and switches. and controls the functions of the engine. The electronic control module (ECM) also controls the check engine indicator light and allows for diagnostic testing through the assembly line diagnostic link (ALDL) connector.
