Mode Control Unit
With the engine running, battery voltage is applied to the mode control unit through fuse 2. When an air delivery request is entered into the mode control unit, a ground signal is applied to the mode actuator. The mode actuator then directs air in the plenum and ducts to the requested location. the temperature lever and fan control unit controls the mix actuator door. Feedback of the mix actuator motor is sent to the temperature lever and fan control unit via the mix actuator internal feedback potentiometer.
