Backup Lamp: Description and Operation

With the ignition switch in ON or START, battery voltage is applied to fuse 12 and to the inhibitor switch (automatic) or back up lights switch (manual). With the transaxle in reverse, the inhibitor switch or back up lights switch closes. Battery voltage is applied to the back up lights and the back up lights go on.
