Lighting and Horns: Description and Operation

Voltage is applied at all times through fuse 20 to the horn relay. The circuit continues from the horn relay to the coil assembly and to the horn switches. When a horn switch is closed, the circuit path is completed to ground. The horn relay is then energized, closing the contacts and providing power to the left and right horns and the horns sound.
