Pickup Coil

- Disconnect electrical connector.

Pickup Coil:

- Using an ohm meter, check the resistance between each pickup coil terminal and distributor housing.

RESISTANCE VALUE
Infinite (open)

Pickup Coil:

- Using an ohm meter, check the resistance between each pickup coil terminal.

RESISTANCE VALUE
500 - 1500 (0.5k - 1.5k) ohms

- Replace pickup coil if faulty.
