Timing Cover Gasket - Oil Leak Past Stud Threads

A number of timing cover gaskets are being replaced for suspected oil leakage. It should be noted that oil can leak down past the threads of the two studs securing the timing cover to the cylinder head.
From engine #8L129799, a stud sealer is applied to these two studs during engine assembly.
If timing cover gasket leakage is suspected, first ensure that the oil is not leaking past the timing cover studs.
