Dealers are reminded that in order to maintain vehicles in compliance with emissions regulations, both the exhaust catalysts and the evaporative loss cannister must be replaced at 50,000 mile intervals. The Passport to Service is being modified to include this operation at the recommended service inspections at 52,500 and 105,000 miles.

These components are considered maintenance items at these intervals and are the owner's responsibility.
