After the trip computer has been reset to 0, as described under computer controls, the highest single distance reading will be 999.9. At the point when the distance reaches 999 miles, the tenth indicator will keep functioning, but the unit will not roll over to 001, but remain on 999. In order for the unit to register additional mileage, it is necessary to RESET at this point.
