Dealers are reminded that no repair or adjustment of any description is permitted on the upper steering column.
If damage is suspected, the complete upper steering column must be replaced.
Refer to Repair Operations Manuals AKM 9006, Book 10, Page 57-9, for XJ6 and AKM 3455, Page 57-7 for the XJ-S.
