Power Locks: Testing and Inspection
NO LOCK AND UNLOCK - ALL LOCKS - POWER SOURCE FAULT1. Check battery condition.
2. Check thermal circuit breaker on passenger side auxiliary fuse panel.
3. Check fuse #17 auxiliary fuse panel.
NO LOCK OR UNLOCK - ALL LOCKS - RELAY(S) FAULT
1. Check relay connections.
2. Check voltage at relay terminal C2.
3. Check continuity to ground from relay terminal W1. Repair as necessary.
4. Check for momentary voltage at relay terminal W2 when locks are operated.
5. Check for momentary voltage at relay terminals C1 and C4 when locks are operated.
NO LOCK OR UNLOCK - TRIGGER UNIT OR LINKAGE FAULT
1. Check linkage. Adjust if needed.
2. Check trigger unit connections.
3. Check continuity to ground from trigger unit plug B (black) pin.
4. Check for battery voltage at trigger unit plug P (purple) pin.
NO LOCK AND / OR UNLOCK - ONE SOLENOID UNIT
1. Check linkage. Adjust if needed.
2. Check continuity to ground from door ground connection.
3. Check momentary voltage at solenoid two pin plug when locks are operated.
