SUBJECT: TRIP COMPUTER REPLACEMENT
MODEL: XJ6 & VDP
In instances where replacement of a trip computer unit, 83876, is indicated by the use of the trip computer test unit, there should be no necessity to replace the interface unit, 73215.
It is highly unlikely that the trip computer and the interface unit would both be at fault.
There has recently been a marked increase in "no fault found" units particularly interface units.
