In order to prevent the use of unsuitable lubricants during service, the rack damper grease nipple has been deleted.

Greasing of the rack damper during service is not necessary, as initial greasing by the manufacturer is considered to be sufficient.

In addition, to overcome difficulty with the steering rack alignment tool, BLT 1058, a deeper and chamfered centralizing pin hole has been introduced.
