NOTE: This Technical Service Bulletin supercedes the Enhancement Program workbook procedure, page 15, outlining the defrost flap vacuum circuit modification.
To eliminate exterior windshield misting during air conditioner operation, modified defroster duct assemblies have been introduced commencing from VIN 527775.
While completing this operation, the evaporator tubes should be insulated to prevent the formation of condensation which drips into the passenger footwell. The evaporation drain filters should also be removed to prevent clogging.
