KEY POINTS: REAR PARTIAL SHELF ANTI-RATTLE PADS
Rattles from the rear parcel shelf trim panel have been eliminated from VIN 527904 when a modification was introduced which incorporates the use of anti-rattle foam pads at three locations.

To modify vehicles built prior to the VIN, the following procedure should be undertaken.



1. Remove the parcel shelf trim panel to gain access to the panel mounting points and body structure.

2. Refer to the illustration to identify the exact locations for fitting the self-adhesive anti-rattle foam pads.

3. Fit the pads, Part No. BDC 6468, at the locations (A).

4. Fit the pad Part No. BDC 6469, to the rear trim panel mounting point (B).

5. Refit the parcel shelf trim panel and test the vehicle for rattles.

6. Harness ties have been incorporated on the high level stop light harness to prevent the connector from rattling on the parcel shelf.
