Water Valve Vacuum Solenoid

Removal
1. Open the bonnet and disconnect the battery earth lead.
2. Remove the left side dash liner and the footwell outlet duct.
3. Remove the screws securing the solenoid mounting panel and reposition the panel for access.
4. Note their positions, then disconnect the vacuum hose and supply cables.
5. Remove the screws securing the solenoid mounting plate, and disconnect the red vacuum hose and remove the solenoid.

Installation
- Install in the reverse order of the removal procedure.

NOTE: The solenoid coil installed to the water valve housing has a resistance of 17.4 Ohms ± 1 Ohm at 5 - 35 °C.
