Steering: Service and Repair

Air in the system will cause the steering to be rough and erratic. Air can be removed using the following bleeding procedure:
1. Check reservoir level and add fluid if necessary.
2. Start engine and turn steering wheel from side to side. Avoid contacting steering stop points.
3. Constantly check fluid level. Allow engine to idle a few minutes.
4. Stop engine, then allow fluid to settle. Recheck fluid level.
