Vehicle Damage Warnings
FUEL SYSTEMS1. Never use sparks or open flames near fuel vapors or fuel.
DANGER: Fuel vapors and fuel can explode and cause bodily injury and/or material damage.
2. Do not operate the fuel pump without fuel in the lines.
3. On fuel injected models do not depress the accelerator pedal while trying to start the car.
4. Handle all fuel injection related parts with care as they may easily become damaged.
5. Always use new gaskets or O-rings when installing fuel filter, fuel lines or injectors.
6. Lightly lubricate O-rings with Vaseline or similar product. Do not use petroleum based lubricants such as engine oil, gear lubricant or brake fluid.
7. Relieve the fuel system pressure before servicing the components.
8. After servicing fuel system, check for leaks and correct as needed.
